The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) needed a stylish, streamlined digital ticketing experience as part of its Exhibition Road entrance redesign. To achieve this, the museum worked with Scala, via Intevi, to build a large-scale digital ticketing desk and video wall that would let visitors buy tickets and view exhibition information right at the entrance.

Scala implemented a solution using nine Scala media player licenses, Scala Content Manager, and Scala Designer to power eight 55-inch screens that could run as one video wall or as independent touchscreens. The result was a flexible, eye-catching installation with independent touch functionality, plus six additional signage screens across the museum, helping create a smoother visitor experience and enabling the V&A team to manage content in-house.
