Transforming Air Travelers’ State of Mind with Eye-Catching Digital Signage in Cyprus

Larnaca International Airport, a major travel hub in Cyprus, faced the challenge of transforming the passenger experience in its new terminal while showcasing the country as a modern destination. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Scala to deploy a state-of-the-art digital signage network. This project required a solution that could handle one of the largest digital networks in the country to impact millions of travelers and meeters-and-greeters annually.

The solution implemented by Scala powered over 330 screens with more than 40 Scala 5 Players, creating a spectacular media landscape that included massive video walls and synchronized displays like the Sequential Digital Strip and the iconic baggage claim Cubes. This high-impact digital signage network successfully transformed the airport environment, resulting in positive feedback from nearly 100 advertisers. Scala's technology helped the airport meet its business goal of maximizing profits, with 60 advertisers using the digital media exclusively since the terminal's opening.
