The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology Employs Interactivity to Engage and Teach Visitors

The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology in Oslo wanted to make its exhibits more engaging and educational, so it turned to Scala through partner Kongsberg Intellifield AS and collaborator Eytor Interaktiv Media. The museum needed an interactive digital solution that could captivate families and school groups across its large, multi-floor science and technology exhibits.

Scala was used to power interactive experiences in the “Climate X” exhibition and the Science Center, including touchscreen and water-based installations. The result was a more immersive visitor experience that helped stimulate learning and awareness of global warming and energy topics, with the museum noting that the interactivity opened up new opportunities to engage audiences in a demanding exhibit environment.
