Swedbank Improves Customer Experience and Focuses on Industry Leadership with Scala Digital Signage Deployment throughout Lithuania

Swedbank, one of the leading financial institutions in its market, needed a modern audio/visual network to entertain and inform customers across 140 bank branches in Lithuania. Its previous system relied on local PCs and screens, making it difficult to update content centrally and lacking the advanced functionality required for video, background music, and branch-wide communication. Swedbank chose Scala, working with partner Audiotonas, to replace the outdated setup.

Scala provided a centrally managed digital signage solution with players, audio systems, and LCD screens installed across branches. The rollout covered 130 branches initially and was planned to finish in 140 branches, with content management also handed over to Audiotonas. Swedbank reported that Scala delivered exactly what was promised, improved cost-effectiveness through Content Manager, enhanced customer experience, increased brand awareness, and created new opportunities to promote services and boost sales.
