SkiStar Sweden Unveils Resort TV Channel for Ski Resorts in Sweden and Norway

SkiStar Resort, a leading operator of alpine ski destinations in Sweden and Norway, needed a better way to keep guests informed with real-time resort information while enhancing the overall visitor experience. Working with Scala and its partner Impact Europe, the resort used Scala InfoChannel to power its resort TV channels and digital information displays across locations such as Sälen, Åre and Trysil.

Scala implemented a 24/7 digital signage and TV channel solution that automatically updates weather, lift, trail and event information from a central location, while also supporting entertainment, commercials and live reports. The system helped SkiStar reach more than 70% of winter visitors daily, improved guest communication on 42" LCD screens, and supported sales through timely promotions and event messaging.
