PT Metra Digital Media, one of Indonesia’s biggest advertising agencies, expanded into Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) services in 2014 and deployed more than 40 LEDs across the country. To manage digital advertising screens in multiple locations, the company chose Scala Enterprise Digital Signage Software.

Scala implemented a web-based central server and Content Manager that let PT Metra Digital Media monitor and update LED content in real time from Jakarta, while automating ad scheduling and maintenance. The result was greater operational efficiency, reduced manpower time and cost, and significant profit growth from the DOOH business, with each LED now looping 5–10 ads and helping attract more advertisers.
