Scala Powers High Tech Way Finding And Entertainment System

Frits Philips Music Building, one of Europe’s top concert halls, wanted to upgrade its visitor areas to match the quality of its acoustics and create a more modern, intuitive guest experience. The venue turned to Scala for digital signage and wayfinding support as part of a broader redesign of foyers, hallways, and other public spaces.

Scala helped implement a digital signage network integrated with AV and lighting control, powered by 25 Scala players. The solution delivers wayfinding, performance information, live feeds, mood lighting, and striking displays such as a 13-meter LED foyer wall and illuminated exterior “M” logos, all managed easily by the operations team. The project was completed in just four months and transformed the building into a “music centre of the future,” with technology and design working together to enhance the visitor experience.
