Mydin, one of Malaysia’s leading retail and wholesale companies, wanted a way to influence shoppers at the point of sale and improve targeted in-store advertising. To do this, Mydin launched its Mydin TV digital signage network, using Scala’s Dynamic Digital Signage solution across its hypermarkets.
Scala helped Mydin deploy a strategically placed network of more than 56 digital screens, including interactive digital directories, in four wholesale hypermarkets nationwide. The system delivers promotions, store directories, educational content, entertainment, live news, and social media feeds, helping Mydin capture critical purchase decisions and strengthen customer engagement at the point of purchase.
