Monopoly Media Launches Eastern Europe’s Largest Digital Out-of-Home Network

ZOOM TV, launched by Monopoly Media in Romania, needed a way to build a national digital signage network that could reach diverse audiences across metros, malls, leisure venues, and airports while balancing broad reach with targeted, venue-specific content. The challenge was to centralize scheduling and content management for more than 3,500 screens and create a scalable model that would also deliver value to hosts, retailers, and advertisers. Scala was selected to support this effort with digital signage design, scheduling, and management capabilities.

Scala helped implement a four-channel network with sub-brands tailored to commuters, shoppers, nightlife audiences, and air travelers, while enabling centralized control and remote updates across the full network. The result was Romania’s first countrywide multi-venue digital signage brand and the largest screen network in Eastern Europe, reaching more than 1 million viewers per day. With Scala, ZOOM TV gained the flexibility to manage thousands of content elements, improve relevancy, and offer measurable commercial returns through shared airtime and media revenue.
