Liseberg Catches Visitors’ Attentionwith Digital Signage

Liseberg, the Swedish amusement park, needed to replace an aging internal digital signage system that was difficult to expand and suffered from reliability issues and downtime during peak visitor periods. The park turned to Scala digital signage technology, with Vertiseit providing the user interface and content support, to create a centralized communications platform across the resort.

Scala helped Liseberg roll out 130 players across more than 200 screens for marketing, digital menu boards, and queue management, including mobile integration for the Helix ride. The new system improved visitor engagement, enabled instant updates across 100 locations at once, and delivered 99.7% uptime; the Helix app was downloaded 250,000 times, generated over 30,000 hours of play, and helped drive record visitor interest.
