KPN Store, the Netherlands’ leading telecommunications retailer, needed to modernize its Primafoon shops and address long perceived wait times, low conversion, and low per-customer revenue. To support a more modern, self-service retail experience, KPN Store worked with Scala and QYN to introduce dynamic in-store messaging and interactive product information across its stores.

Scala’s digital signage software powered a large-scale rollout of more than 600 screens in 105 locations, along with interactive kiosks and promotional displays throughout the shop. The solution helped reduce the perception of waiting time, improved the customer experience, and supported sales by guiding shoppers to the right phones and services. Scala’s platform was described as stable and versatile, fitting KPN Store’s high requirements for a state-of-the-art retail environment.
