Lamcy Plaza’s Digital Signage Advertising Network Attract’s Mall Shoppers to Tenant Stores

Lamcy Plaza in Dubai wanted a way to attract shoppers to tenant stores and promote mall services more effectively, so it launched LamcyTV, a digital signage advertising network built on Scala InfoChannel®. The mall worked with Specialized Software Services (SSS) to create dynamic point-of-purchase content that could be updated quickly and tailored to shoppers in high-traffic areas.

Using Scala’s InfoChannel® Designer 3 and InfoChannel® Enterprise Edition Network Manager, Scala helped power and manage a network of 37 plasma and LCD screens across elevators and escalators, with updates delivered over WiFi and tied to POS and other databases. The result was a premium advertising platform that sold airtime to major brands, with Lamcy Plaza expecting to recoup its installation investment in less than one year.
