Kiwi, Norway’s second-largest low-price grocery chain, needed a better way to educate and inform employees across about 450 stores amid rapid expansion and high staff turnover. Working with Scala, Kiwi looked for a visible, digital, and interactive internal communications solution to ensure important updates reached all workers.

Scala implemented interactive information screens in every Kiwi store, placed near employee entrances and lunchrooms, with sections for general news, training, promotions, and urgent messages. The system also added a clock-in/clock-out feature to guarantee daily exposure to key information. Kiwi reported that the screens helped them educate people quickly, improve chain-wide alignment, and deliver information to all employees more effectively.
