Innovative Libris Bookstores Showcase In-Store Promotions With High-Impact Digital Signage

Libris, a national bookstore chain in Norway owned by NorgesGruppen, wanted to refresh its brand and improve the in-store customer experience by adopting digital signage. To do this, Libris chose Scala software, already used successfully across other NorgesGruppen retail chains, and worked with Scala Certified Partner Capella Media for content production and playlist management.

Scala helped Libris roll out a digital signage network that now includes screens in 85 stores, with 40 more planned, enabling faster updates and more effective campaign messaging. The result has been strong customer and owner feedback, more attention to promotions, and even an early sell-out of a featured book, showing clear impact from Scala’s solution.
