InfoChannel Helps High School Communicate

Phoenixville High School needed a better way to communicate school events and community information while engaging students more actively. Using Scala’s InfoChannel 3 software suite, the school set out to create a live broadcasting curriculum and an internal communications network that could support multiple content channels across campus.

Scala implemented an IC3 network with IC3 Player, IC3 Designer, IC3 Network Manager, and IC3 Reporter to power three broadcast channels for the lobby, classrooms, and a future community cable channel. The solution helped students and faculty produce and update broadcast-quality content, increased student involvement through classes and an after-school studio club, and generated strong interest across the school, with content reaching the lobby display and all 90 classrooms.
