Carrefour Group modernized in-store communications at Carrefour market Belgium after finding its print-poster approach expensive, time-consuming, and outdated. The retailer wanted a more flexible way to share promotions and product information, while also improving queue management at the tills, and turned to Scala digital signage technology for the rollout.

Scala, working through local integrator DOBIT, implemented a digital signage network across 25 stores in Belgium with 150 screens, a centralized content management system, integrated queuing, and audio announcements. The solution made it easy to update content locally and push targeted campaigns, and Carrefour reported only positive feedback, a more modern store look, and more dynamic promotion delivery.
