A Scala Case Study

EAT - Customer Case Study

EAT, an innovative food brand, wanted to improve the customer experience with digital menu boards that were quick, clear, and aligned to its brand. The company also needed central control with simple store-level management to handle frequent daily menu changes across its estate. Scala’s digital signage platform and API were used as part of a custom menu solution.

Scala, working with Beaver Group, implemented a centrally managed “Menu Manager” system for EAT, while also giving each store a web-based login to make immediate local updates. The solution improved consistency, speed of response, and operational control, helping EAT reduce errors and serve customers more effectively. After a successful trial at The Strand, the rollout expanded to 53 stores, with the remainder planned for completion by December 2014.
