Panos, the leading sandwich chain in Belgium and part of La Lorraine Bakery Group, needed to upgrade its digital signage across franchised restaurants in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company wanted a more centralized way to support targeted promotions and justify the investment to franchisees, while using the in-store screens to drive upselling and cross-selling.
Working with Scala and integrator Prime Products, Panos rolled out 180 digital screens at 150 locations and used Scala content management software plus Scala Advanced Analytics to measure performance and optimize campaigns. The solution was deployed in under two weeks, and the targeted signage delivered a measurable result: beverage sales rose by more than 7%, proving the positive ROI of Scala’s digital signage approach.
