Digital Signage Reduces Operational Costs for Federation Council of Russia

The Federation Council of Russia, the Upper House of the Federal Assembly, needed to cut rising costs tied to printing, labor, and slow paper-based distribution of time-sensitive announcements and meeting information. To solve this challenge, the Council worked with Scala partner Dismart and chose Scala 5, using Scala Content Manager, Designer, and Scala Players to move to a digital signage network.

Scala helped the Federation Council of Russia install five 42-inch screens in high-traffic areas such as elevators, the restaurant, and outside the conference hall. The system now delivers schedules, decisions, news, and other updates more quickly while reducing labor and paper expenses significantly; it also improved the Council’s public image and environmental stance.
