Digital Health Information Channel at SESCAM
SESCAM, the Health Care Services of Castilla la Mancha in Spain, needed a better way to inform patients and employees across its medical centers while helping reduce the perceived waiting time. It worked with Scala Certified Partner ASVideo to deploy a digital signage network for the “SESCAM Informa” channel, using Scala software to deliver health information, news, and campaigns across its facilities.
Scala and ASVideo implemented the system in three new specialty centers with 28 plasma screens total, combining SESCAM branding, videos, health tips, website news, weather, and other multimedia content. The network is centrally managed from SESCAM’s main offices and remotely updated by ASVideo, with plans to expand to more centers and hospitals.
