Dialect Inc, Sweden’s largest telecom retail chain, needed a way to keep in-store signage current in a fast-changing mobile and telecommunications market. Traditional signs could not keep pace with new promotions and technology, so the company turned to Scala and its InfoChannel® digital signage platform to create a more dynamic, networked store display system.

Scala implemented InfoChannel® Player software on 43" plasma displays, centrally managed over the Internet through InfoChannel® Network Manager Enterprise Edition. The solution enabled nationwide content updates, local store customization, remote monitoring, and weekly content refreshes, while a Scala Service Plan allowed remote upgrades without on-site visits. The rollout saved significant travel and labor costs, and its success led Dialect Inc to plan expansion from 50 stores to an additional 10–20 locations.
