Dansk Reklame Film Integrates Scala Content Manager with In-House Campaign Distribution Engine to Deliver Digital Cinema Advertising to Theaters throughout Denmark

Dansk Reklame Film, a Danish cinema advertising company serving 90% of Denmark’s cinema theatres, needed to replace a manual film-roll process that was costly, complex, and limited picture quality. The company worked with Scala partner IntelliNet and used Scala Content Manager to move toward a digital advertising workflow.

Scala and IntelliNet implemented a fully digitized distribution system using Scala Content Manager and IntelliNet’s Campaign Distribution Engine, allowing DRF to target campaigns by cinema, film, audience, and timing. The solution now creates more than 4,000 unique playlists nightly across 235 cinema players and projectors, improving workflow efficiency, boosting competitive position, and delivering flexible new offerings that DRF says have been very well received by customers.
