Bonalba Golf, an 18-hole course in Alicante, Spain, needed a better way to communicate with more than 60,000 annual visitors while also creating a new advertising channel. Working with Scala and its certified partner ASVideo, the club chose the Scala InfoChannel® digital signage platform for its first golf course digital signage channel.

Scala helped power a turnkey network of 42" NEC plasma screens and a clubhouse projector placed in high-traffic areas, with ASVideo managing content, scheduling, and system maintenance. The result was an engaging channel that entertains golfers with sports content while displaying advertising, Bonalba Golf information, news, and tee-time data via RSS feed, making Bonalba Golf TV the first golf course digital signage channel.
