Be Digital launches TehTarik.TV channel in popular mamak restaurants across Malaysia’s Klang Valley

Be Digital, a Malaysian digital signage solutions provider and network manager, launched TehTarik.TV in mamak restaurants across the Klang Valley to create a more engaging, interactive media experience. The challenge was to deliver content that could attract, inform, and entertain audiences across more than 12 restaurant chains without simply pushing one-way messaging, while also managing different menus and content for multiple locations.

Using Scala Content Manager and Scala’s scripting capabilities, Be Digital built a flexible network with master playlists, nested sub-playlists, and scheduled conditions to control content by outlet and time. Scala helped save hours of weekly work, reduced the risk of sending the wrong menu to the wrong chain, and supported a network running about 18 hours a day with at least 70 loops, while improving ad visibility and ROI.
