A Scala Case Study
BC Children’s Hospital Foundation needed a more engaging way to promote its $200-million Campaign for BC Children and connect with hospital visitors, staff, and donors. Working with Scala and 2C Visual Communications, the foundation set out to create an attention-grabbing interactive donor wall that would raise awareness, encourage donations, and explain the campaign.
Scala helped power the wall’s digital content management, allowing the team to update multiple LCD screens remotely and quickly. The finished 10-by-15-foot display used sensors, audio, lighting, and interactive screens to create a playful experience that was well received by patients and the community; content updates take only 10 to 15 minutes, and the wall also helped the foundation secure media coverage to further its fundraising message.
