Ballantyne Village Converts former Lack-Luster Digital Signage System to Scala InfoChannel

Ballantyne Village, a premier mixed-use venue in Charlotte, needed a more capable digital signage platform after its previous Nexus Media system fell short of expectations. Working with Scala Certified Partner DaVinci Bridge, the customer looked for a scalable solution with dynamic content, split-screen and multi-region support, HD video, and remote management, ultimately selecting Scala InfoChannel.

Scala and DaVinci Bridge deployed a complete digital signage network at Ballantyne Village, starting with five player channels and expanding to 12 channels controlling 28 screens across the property. The rollout improved movie trailers, menu boards, brand advertising, and interactive wayfinding displays, delivering strong results: management rated the solution a 10 out of 10, and praised Scala for being more user-friendly, better supported, and more cost-effective than the previous system.
