The customer, VEGA Grieshaber KG, a manufacturer of level and pressure instrumentation, sought to bring more structure and a KPI-oriented approach to its shopfloor processes. To meet this challenge, they partnered with the vendor Scable and implemented its Shopfloor Management software.

Scable's solution was introduced in two pilot departments, SMD production and assembly, for a quick start. The implementation led to a more analytical and transparent way of working, oriented around key performance indicators such as output, scrap, and downtime. The vendor Scable enabled VEGA to successfully adopt digital shopfloor management, which was quickly accepted by employees and resulted in more solution-oriented processes.
