Zen Microsystems proves 1 cm RTK position accuracy with SBG Systems

Zen Microsystems, a renowned Indian distributor for testing equipment, was approached by an Indian tire manufacturer to test the adherence and cornering capabilities of their tires against the market leader. To conduct this analysis, Zen Microsystems utilized the Ellipse-A Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) from vendor SBG Systems.

SBG Systems' Ellipse-A AHRS was used to measure speed, lateral acceleration, and bike lean angle during comparative tests on a drive circuit. The solution proved the client's tires allowed for higher bike roll and lateral acceleration at higher speeds, demonstrating superior road grip. Following this success, the client chose to upgrade to SBG Systems' more advanced Ellipse-N, a miniature INS/GNSS system, for future testing.
