Phillips 66 quadruples NGL fractionation capacity with S&B and finishes 2 months early

The customer Phillips 66 engaged vendor S&B for an integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) service to significantly expand its NGL fractionation capacity in Sweeny, Texas.

S&B delivered two new fractionation plants and a shared utilities island, quadrupling the site's capacity to 300,000 barrels per day and establishing it as the third largest NGL hub in the U.S. Despite challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and severe weather, S&B completed the project two months ahead of schedule while achieving an exceptional safety record.
