Harvey Gulf International Marine launches 3 survey vessels with S&B, reaching 38+ knots

Harvey Gulf International Marine, a marine company, required the construction of specialized vessels for conducting hydrographic surveys. They engaged vendor S&B, whose subsidiary TAI provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services to address this challenge.

S&B delivered three advanced 62-69' survey vessels equipped with high-speed MAN propulsion diesels and Hamilton waterjets. The solution included sophisticated sonar systems housed in a survey pod and onboard accommodations. S&B completed the project on budget and on schedule, with the first vessel being recognized as one of the top 10 significant boats of the year by WorkBoat Magazine.
