Country Bank, a community bank in Illinois, wanted to reduce customer service costs while maintaining satisfaction and retention, and specifically needed help driving adoption of electronic deposits instead of costly in-branch check deposits. Saylent’s Relationship360™ solution was used to identify the right customers, segment deposit behaviors, and target those not using ATM or mobile deposits with the right incentive offer.
Saylent implemented a tiered cash-back campaign, supported by direct mail and staggered email outreach, to encourage mobile and ATM deposits. The results were strong: nearly 6% of targeted customers became newly active, mobile app downloads increased 35%, in-branch check deposits fell 9.47%, and monthly expenses dropped by $493.95, with an estimated $8,891.10 savings over 18 months.
