LIXIL, a Tokyo‑headquartered maker of water and housing products operating in more than 150 countries, needed to modernize identity management after its legacy, Japan‑centric homegrown system could not scale for a global workforce (including GDPR‑bound European users following the GROHE acquisition). To achieve consistent, compliant identity processes across diverse markets and languages, LIXIL selected Saviynt’s Identity Cloud, specifically Saviynt Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).

Saviynt implemented a multi‑phase IGA deployment (with Saviynt Expert Services), ingesting complex legacy data, integrating HR systems like SuccessFactors, and standardizing identity workflows across subsidiaries. The solution now provides centralized visibility for more than 70,000 internal and third‑party identities, faster automated onboarding/offboarding, stronger audit readiness, and reduced compliance and cybersecurity risk—enabling LIXIL to decommission its legacy engine and extend capabilities (including future PAM) across the enterprise.
