Journey to the Cloud with Phillips 66 and Saviynt IGA

Phillips 66, a Fortune 500 energy company with roughly 14,000 employees and nearly 150 years of history, embarked on an IGA modernization in 2019 to replace an unsupported on‑premises Quest Identity Manager that could not integrate with cloud apps. Facing the need for a cloud‑first, hybrid-capable solution to standardize controls, improve user experience, and enforce governance, Phillips 66 evaluated vendors and selected Saviynt, implementing Saviynt IGA as the core product.

Saviynt delivered a cloud migration and single‑pane‑of‑glass IGA that manages Active Directory and multi‑endpoint environments, detects SoD violations, enforces auditability, and automates provisioning/deprovisioning. After a 300‑point POC and an accelerated Phase One rollout, Saviynt IGA now secures about 25,000 users and 40 applications globally for Phillips 66, speeds certifications, streamlines risk reduction with advanced analytics, and supports future consolidation onto Saviynt’s Enterprise Identity Cloud.
