Case Study: Caverion modernizes access control and zero trust with Saviynt

A Saviynt Case Study

Preview of the Caverion Case Study

How a leading European technical service and installation company modernized access control and embraced zero trust

Caverion, a technical service and installation provider operating across the Nordics and Central Europe, needed to modernize identity security and replace its outdated Microsoft Identity Manager system. Manual, ticket-based access requests were slow, costly, and fragmented, making it difficult to govern access and support the company’s move toward zero trust. Caverion turned to Saviynt to improve application access governance and centralize identity lifecycle management.

With Saviynt and partner Nixu, Caverion automated access requests, streamlined onboarding with birthright access, and created a centralized source of truth for access rights and user activity. The solution also enabled right-time, right-level access for complex Microsoft Power BI reporting data in Microsoft Dataverse. As a result, Caverion reduced manual workloads, decommissioned a cumbersome identity management platform, improved access control, and moved closer to zero trust—delivering the project within budget.
