A Savanta Case Study
Healthwatch England, representing the voice of health and social care users, wanted to explore mental health service provision across twenty-one population groups. Their challenge was to conduct a literature review that would gather existing research and, crucially, identify gaps where further attention was needed to shape their future focus. They engaged the research firm Savanta to undertake this project.
Savanta implemented a comprehensive 'birth to death' literature review, leveraging their team's strong experience in mental health sector research. The outcome was a published report that highlighted gaps in the existing literature. Furthermore, Savanta ran internal workshops with Healthwatch England to discuss the findings, which directly led to Healthwatch conducting new research to address identified gaps in perinatal mental health.
