Ariel Corporation, a major Ohio-based manufacturer of gas compression equipment, sought to improve the safety and security of its multi-site facilities. Their outdated, paper-based visitor registration process offered no integration with their existing access control system. To address this challenge, they worked with vendor Savance to implement an electronic Visitor Management solution, integrated with their 3xLogic Infinias access control.

Savance implemented a customized, multi-kiosk solution that automated visitor sign-in, printed badges, and sent notifications to hosts. The system was fully integrated with access control to activate contractor badges. The implementation provided Ariel with much better visibility of everyone on their premises and increased security. A key benefit was the addition of Savance's Emergency Mustering solution, which created an automated roll call tool for emergencies.
