The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), the state’s largest postsecondary institution with about 18,000 students and a Student Services staff of 150+, needed a FERPA‑compliant replacement for ad‑hoc instant messaging and an internally developed in/out board. The result: improved communication, enhanced student services and remote collaboration, adoption by additional departments, and a measurable increase—UAA doubled its EIOBoard user licenses.
