Emergency Preparedness for a Leader in Security & Defense

Raytheon, a global defense and aerospace company, identified critical security gaps at a Maryland site—unauthorized access to secure areas and no reliable way to account for staff during emergencies. To address these needs they engaged Savance EIOBoard and selected the EIOBoard Access Control Plus and Emergency Mustering solutions to provide digital headcount, badge-swipe integration, wall-mounted kiosks and mobile mustering tools.

Savance EIOBoard implemented door controllers, converted existing HID badge readers with wall-mounted PC/HID modules, added touch-screen kiosks, and configured offline PDAs for emergency mustering. The result: real‑time tracking and logging of every badge swipe, managers can view the status and location of 200+ employees on the EIOBoard status board and offline tablets, control and restrict door access, and substantially improve emergency preparedness and evacuation management.
