EIOBoard Replaces Magnetic Status Board for Improved Staff Tracking

The City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado (population ~30,000; 400–500 employees) faced breakdowns in staff visibility across multiple sites—particularly in the City Planning Department and Recreation Center—where employees move between job sites and two facilities and part-time schedules change often. To replace impractical magnetic status boards the city evaluated solutions and selected Savance EIOBoard, deploying its Electronic Whiteboard and Staff Tracking tools.

Savance EIOBoard implemented a desktop Outlook Add‑In, large-screen electronic status boards, and mobile apps so staff can check in/out, update locations, and view coworker status from office PCs or the field. The rollout was smooth and has delivered improved employee tracking, better mobile collaboration, quicker internal communications, and time-recording for billing/planning; after nearly five years the City of Wheat Ridge extended the service through 2018, calling EIOBoard a “stable, mature product.”
