Walmart Labs, the technology division of Walmart, faced challenges with slow, manual testing processes that limited deployments to only twice per month and hindered test coverage across many browsers and devices. By implementing Sauce Labs alongside their own open-source automation platform, Walmart Labs standardized its testing frameworks and scaled its operations. The results were significant: they now run about 50,000 tests daily, achieve coverage across over 700 browser/OS combinations, and deploy updates multiple times daily. This shift saved over 750,000 manual testing hours and increased the number of test cases per build for some teams from 200 to 500.
