Global Bank Rolls Out New Services Across Multiple Branches Seamlessly with IBM Power Servers

Global Bank, a global banking customer with branch offices in the tri-state area, needed to roll out a new Remote Banking System quickly across locations that were running on outdated, inconsistent IT infrastructure. The legacy environment created maintenance and interoperability issues, and it lacked the scalability and redundancy needed to support growing transaction volumes and future services. Saturn Business Systems helped assess the requirements and proposed an upgraded platform using IBM Power Servers and IBM V7000 Storage Array.

Saturn Business Systems implemented a dual-rack, clustered IBM Power Systems environment with PowerHA, supported by IBM V7000 storage and SAN switches to deliver redundancy, performance, and business continuity. The new setup enabled Global Bank to launch its services on schedule with a more resilient and scalable infrastructure, while also adding features like Real Time Compression and E-Z Tier to help address future data growth.
