Maruichi America Corp tracks raw materials outdoors with Sato labeling system

Maruichi America Corp, a manufacturer of high-quality steel tubing, faced a challenge in accurately tracking its raw materials and finished goods. Their previous barcode labels could not withstand the outdoor storage conditions at their facility, being damaged by sun and rain. To solve this, they turned to vendor Sato for a new labeling system.

Sato implemented its CL408e label printer, which was integrated with the company's existing tracking application. The solution utilized durable Valeron tags for finished goods that could withstand water, heat, and sunlight. This allowed Maruichi America to accurately track all inventory stored outdoors. The company was very satisfied with the Sato system and is considering further efficiency gains with RFID technology.
