The Travel Corporation (TTC), a global group of tour operators, hotels and travel brands, faced fragmented customer data across multiple reservation systems and channels (web, call centers, travel agencies). This lack of a single customer view hindered consistent service, personalization and targeted marketing across its brands and partner network.
TTC deployed SAS Data Management and the SAS Integration Server with a formal data governance program and appointed data stewards to standardize records, enforce business rules and deliver real-time single customer profiles via an SOA framework. The unified view enabled targeted marketing, personalized transactions and improved partner communications (e.g., the ePartner program), leading to better customer relationships, more consistent service delivery and increased revenue opportunities.
