A SAS Case Study
Kennesaw State University, the third-largest public university in Georgia, struggled with fragmented data trapped in three ERP systems and desktop silos. Administrators relied on IT for reports that were often inconsistent and took a week or more to produce, while IT was overloaded with basic reporting and time-consuming what‑if analyses.
By implementing the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Suite, KSU centralized its data, reduced 320 Oracle-based reports to 89, and gave roughly 230 campus users self‑service access to drillable, exportable reports. The result: faster, more trusted decision‑making (improved enrollment, retention and degree‑tracking workflows), freed IT resources for advanced analytics (e.g., revenue impact of waivers and Guaranteed Tuition), and plans to expand SAS to financial and human capital management.
