High Point Central High School raises its overall proficiency from below 60 percent to the 70th percentile

High Point Central High School in Guilford County, North Carolina faced overall proficiency scores below 60 percent when Revonda Johnson became principal. The school needed an analysis and reporting system that would diagnose past performance, predict student success probabilities, and drive instruction, interventions and accountability.

High Point Central implemented SAS EVAAS for K‑12 to set predictor-based goals, guide student grouping, allocate teaching resources and target tutoring. As a result the school’s overall proficiency moved into the 70th percentile, teacher distribution and budget decisions became more equitable and strategic, and teacher collaboration, student accountability and parent engagement all improved.
