A SAS Case Study
SAS partnered with Granville County Schools to tackle chronic student disengagement and low graduation rates at South Granville High School, where traditional classroom models left students bored and only 58% were graduating. The district sought a way to modernize teaching, re-engage learners and ensure students left school ready for college and the workforce.
Through the Redesigned Schools 2.0 initiative — supplying 1:1 laptops and deploying SAS Curriculum Pathways and SAS EVAAS for K–12 — teachers gained tools for standards-based instruction and longitudinal, predictive student analytics. Within two years the school saw a 20.3% jump in graduation rates (about a 20% reduction in dropouts), higher attendance, fewer disciplinary incidents, improved teacher engagement and measurable gains in student progress.
