ICA Banken, a full-service digital bank serving roughly 760,000 customers and part of Sweden’s ICA group, needed to deliver highly relevant, personalized offers across its app and website despite having no physical branches. The challenge was to read customers’ digital behavior and combine it with bank data securely to present the right product at the right time, while keeping campaign development agile and privacy-compliant.
Using SAS Customer Intelligence 360 together with SAS Marketing Automation and SAS Enterprise Miner in a cloud solution, ICA Banken unified real‑time digital behavior with warehouse data via a pseudonymized customer key to power tailored offers. The change cut campaign design from six weeks to one day, enabled rapid testing and iteration, and produced a tenfold increase in conversion rates.
