Réunica Group, one of France’s largest health and personal insurance groups and the leader in supplementary pensions (managing €8.1 billion for 1.6 million beneficiaries), needed a way to close the gap between senior strategy and day‑to‑day operations. The organization sought a system to translate strategic objectives into actionable measures across departments so its customer‑focused strategy could be applied continuously and consistently at all levels.
Réunica implemented SAS (including SAS Enterprise Miner) to model strategic maps using a balanced‑scorecard approach, define action variables and KPIs, and validate cause‑and‑effect relationships. The solution—accessed by about 400 users via an online portal with color‑coded alerts and drill‑down analytics—aligned objectives with operational actions, enabled ongoing performance monitoring, and allowed managers to dynamically adjust strategy based on statistical correlations and historical comparisons.
