National Signal, a manufacturer of portable solar construction equipment, LED signs, and traffic safety products, needed a way for customers to remotely track physical assets, manage sign messages, and access diagnostics for portable signs and message boards. Saritasa was brought in to support an IoT portable message sign system built for these remote management needs.

Saritasa designed and developed a cloud-based IoT asset management and remote diagnostics solution for National Signal, including custom firmware to connect a cellular gateway to the existing board controller and integrate with AT&T M2X for secure time-series data storage. The system was NTCIP compliant to meet Department of Transportation requirements, improving remote monitoring, asset management, and diagnostics, with ongoing support and feature enhancements from Saritasa.
