The City of Los Angeles partnered with Saritasa to address the time- and resource-intensive process of testing truck drivers for pre-trip vehicle inspection qualifications. Traditional exams required scheduling large groups at physical testing sites and moving vehicles from the garage to the test location, making the process costly and cumbersome.

Saritasa built a VR proof of concept in Unity for the HTC Vive Cosmos that lets applicants complete a virtual pre-trip truck inspection with interactive checkpoints, timed testing, unique navigation, and secure scoring. The solution reduces testing costs and resources, enables assessments to be conducted anytime and anywhere, and allows scores and video recordings to be reviewed centrally for more efficient grading.
